Ritual
-Morning & night, on lightly dampened skin, apply 1-2 pumps of the Solar Return Revitalizing Essence into your palm. Apply by pressing into the skin, covering your face, neck, and chest. Allowing as much of the gel to settle into the skin before applying your moisturizer and/or facial oil of choice.
-To create a complete moisturizer, we love this paired with the First Light Brightening Oil Serum for day use. For dry skin or at night, try the Renewing Concentrate.
-To amplify the renewal properties, pair with the Illuminating Exfoliating Serum in the evenings 3x a week.
Botanical Profile
At the heart is a hydro-distillation of fresh Calendula, Chamomile, and Lemon balm to recover from oxidative damage while acting as the vessel for potent botanical extracts and peptides. While also providing a cooling blanket of soothing phytonutrients to support a healthy acid mantle & microbiome.
The core renewal element comes from Moth Bean, an extract that is often associated with being a retinol alternative though it doesn’t contain any Vitamin A. With gentler outcomes, it doesn’t cause sun sensitivity, dryness, or other common retinol side effects. Supporting vitality through improving elasticity and mindfully encouraging new cells to emerge. Where the powerful antioxidants act as a preventive measure against sun damage.
Niacinamide works by boosting the production of ceramides and fatty acids, enhancing moisture retention, regulating melanin synthesis, and supporting collagen production, resulting in a more even-toned and hydrated complexion. In addition to the encapsulation, it is co-formulated with a Peptide Complex of Pea and Quinoa proteins, which in clinical testing showed surface-level discoloration started to improve within 14 days.
Additional peptides from Pomegranate and Orange Flower work to replenish hydration, boost skin elasticity to offer visible firmness, and combat free radicals.
Beta-glucan & Snow Mushroom are deeply hydrating, soothing, and strengthening the skin's natural barrier. It modulates inflammation, reducing cellular breakdown caused by environmental and internal stressors which improves moisture retention, adds resilience, and creates a calm complexion.
Glycosphingolipids, a plant-based carbohydrate that is a precursor to ceramide function within the skin to stabilize cell membranes. This maintains moisture and provides protection from harsh conditions, adding life to photo-aged skin.
